joiner/planer
Please need your advise on new joiner and plane for my shop.
Was looking online at the Grizzly G0675 combo. One of the most important things is ease of changing and aligning new blades. Your input appreciated. George (aka Bumhead) |

If that is indeed the important thing to you, I doubt you can improve on the ease of changing and aligning that you'll find with a carbide insert, helical head like the Shelix or comparable head. I'll never voluntarily go back to the straight knife style cutter heads. I don't know if the unit you mentioned is available with that style head, but you might check/ask about it. Be aware, they are not cheap. Tom Veatch Wichita, KS USA |
