I've finished my initial design for the music stand on my wife's piano. It
will be a combination of jigsaw, scrollsaw work with some good old craving
to accent the lines in the knots. I think I'll make a practice one from pine
and the final one from not sure yet possibly maple.

Usenet is a text-based medium. Please don't use HTML, even though
Microsoft makes it possible.

Using Agent, I didn't even notice he used HTML. G

Good point.

Yeah, that worked, except the picture was wider than my screen. A good
rule of thumb is to make it about 800 pixels wide.

Please don't post in html, as some folks use readers that don't render
it, and consequently get all the html codes mixed in with the message.

Other than that it looked fine - I'll be looking forward to the
completed piece in wood...

I like that.

re html, it's a binaries pictures group, I don't see why it should make a
difference how you post your picture.

Because binaries attached to a message and HTML imbedded into a message
are two different things. Attachments are a standard email/newsreader
(and relatively simple) construct that any newsreader should understand.
HTML is an encoding that is meant to be understood by web browsers and
can be very complex indeed; a newsreader must effectively also be a
full-blown web browser in order to render it, which of course not all
newsreaders are.
