Good lookin' grain, and nice lathe! What are you finishing with, if
any? Oh, and it's the _love_ of money that's the root of all evil...I
want a refund, please! Tom

This type of wood I use Lee Valley tung oil sealer to bring out the
grain. Next day I use Crystal Coat(shellac and wax). After I get the
bottom finished I will buff the entire bowl with Hut light. My
dedicated buffer is an old HF lathe that I started with.

I like just the tung oil sealer and a coat of pure tung oil, but all
my customers expect a shiny surface.

Gerald, I think it looks great. You did a nice job picking out that
piece of wood.

I hope you post some pics of the finished product.

The bowl is not so great, but the wood is beautiful. Thanks.
