Default More Woodturning a Change Coming

Beginning with the June 2005 issue More Woodturning will change to magazine
format. The new page image size will be 8.375” wide by 10.875” high. The
magazine will be printed on 60-pound white book paper, the same paper as was
used for the May 2005 issue.

This change is brought about for two reasons: (1) to improve the quality of the
image (photograph) reproduction and (2) to eliminate the problem in which the
newspaper format issues sometimes wound up in the bottom of the bird cage or
were used to start a fire in the fireplace. A third benefit to our electronic
issue subscribers will be that pages will print out full size on their printers,
rather than the reduced size of the newspaper format. For people interested in
the electronic version, it is in full color.

There will be 10 issues per year of 32 pages each. Subscription price remains
the same.

Hi Fred,

On http://www.fholder.com/Woodturning/woodturn.htm you only mention one
price for the newsletter that is for print subscription, I assume. Did I
miss something or is there a discount for electronic subscriptions -
Acrobat? Or is this merely for the archived articles on CD?

Thanks,

Derek

Hello Derek,

The only discount comes to Foreign subscribers who do not have to pay the extra
postage. The extra work of making it available as a PDF file sort of uses up the
regular postage portion. People subscribing to the electronic version, get the
benefit of color photographs and almost instant delivery time. I generally send
the e-mail with the link to the issue at the same time the publication goes to
the post office. I have not fully updated my web site. That is on the agenda.
