Selling on credit to people with a poor credit rating is not a good
business model. It is the same thing that caused to banking crisis.

"In 2017, it was ordered to pay almost 250,000 customers £14.8million in compensation after it failed to be a "responsible lender" according to the Financial Conduct Authority. Any collapse could reduce the amounts many are still waiting on."

That's convenient.

"And those who are currently paying off products bought via BrightHouse will have to continue to do so, with administrators likely to oversee the payments, with the loans likely to be sold on to another lender."

Brighthouse Two Limited, perhaps?

The answer is likely in your own link...

"Any collapse could reduce the (share of £14.8million total
refund) amounts many are still waiting on.
(From BH being found guilty of acting like sharks). (My parentheses)

And those who are currently paying off products bought via
BrightHouse will have to continue to do so, with administrators
likely to oversee the payments, with the loans likely to be sold
on to another lender."

Sleazy.

It can be, most obviously with credit cards.
You just have to ensure that you charge
them more than the default rate.

It is the same thing that caused to banking crisis.

Wrong. What caused that was the bundling and securetizing
of those mortgages and them getting AAA ratings that they
didnt even come close to qualifying for.
