Another weird job
Ceiling extractor fan in en suite not working. Hadn't worked since they moved into the house 6 years ago (built in 2000.) Took the cover off, power going in, undid the 4 screws to remove it. No rawlplugs, just screwed into the plasterboard! No ducting! Just 10" of loft insulation! The mind boggles! -- Dave The Medway Handyman |

Another weird job
Somebody was in a hurry, but let me think, no wires to the fan had been
fitted? You may laugh, but back in the late 60s when they built some houses behind ours at least one new resident found that a light in a cupboard had no wire going to it.
