Of course it is ... their fault (in many cases) they weren't willing or able to vote on little information? Too brain dead Nope, quite the opposite as many voted because they were racists or by tossing a coin. and idle more like. Nope, turned up at the polling station and actually put more *effort* into voting than you did (I had to write NOTA on my ballot paper). Unfortunately people suggesting that those who didn't vote, didn't care says more about you than you imagined. The government sent every household a leaflet setting out the case. (In a very pro-remain fashion) It did, but are you saying that I should have voted remain because of that? What if leaving was the best thing for 'most people'. I'll vote when I see the final deal and know *exactly* what I'm supposed to be voting on in a RW / factual way. Not some BS principals that may not affect anyone in a negative way (and possibly the complete opposite). You are on your crusade so you have your reasons. Most aren't and so don't (and why only 1/3rd of the electorate voted as you did). Cheers, T i m |

But writing NOTA was exactly equivalent to writing "I agree to go along with the majority", you put more effort in, for less result. It seems very clear now that you'd prefer to have the status quo ante, rather than change, so couldn't you have *forced* yourself to make that decision at the time? |
