"Fully flexible, 15-way high integrity RCD consumer unit supplied with
10 x Appleby 1G 35mm metal back boxes."

I'll bet a student that had to get up early wrote that page.

I'm not seeing the problem with that, maybe I should go back to bed?

I was looking at this the other day:
https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb...ier-230v/48162

but when I went to check the stock, no branches anywhere near me stocked
it. I then rang the 24/7 helpline, but got cut off every time.

Needless to say, I went somewhere else.

It might just be a genuine offer. Occasionally they or TLC do deals of free sockets or back boxes with a CU.

Anyway, if you want it, order it! And do a screen dump so when it arrives sans boxes you can complain.

What's wrong with that? The 10 back boxes are shown in the picture.

...or an experienced buyer who placed an order for Appleby 1G 35mm metal
back boxes after a long, liquid lunch and now has 100 x usual stock to shift

Hot melt glue gun, best get a battery one so you can do it without mains
power.

Just take the plug off and wrap the wires around the meter tails.
