Painting column radiators
We've got three or four column radiators (three columns deep) that were knocked about a bit during building work and that could do with a spruce up.
I don't want to remove them from the wall because they weigh a ton, I don't want to drain them etc My existing plan is: Clean off all dust, then wash and then wipe down with white spirit Mask wall, floor, cat etc up with newspaper and tape Spray it with radiator paint Hey, done! Now this looks pretty easy, which makes me worried. Any top tips for painting them in situ? Ta David |

You may need an extension nozzle on a very slim tube to be able to spray from 'inside' the columns. Owain |

Detergent works, and bulk use of white spirit indoors is a hazard. NT |

Painting column radiators
Most of the ones I've seen refurbished were dipped in some kind of paint so
one supposes they had to have been taken out first as dipping the whole building would need a very big tank of paint! Brian -- ----- - This newsgroup posting comes to you directly from...
