Can yuo prove that as I thought when the price of oil went up those in
the USA started ditching their gas-guzzlers and started buying more
economically running cars.

Yes. But mainly imports.

SO ?

The US car industry has never made a small car
locally that I know of. Although US car companies like Ford and GM make
them elsewhere.

The Chevrolet Cruze & Chevrolet Cobalt weren't large gas guzzlers.

Neither are small cars the size of the Hyundai Getz or VW Polo tho.

So is a Lincoln town car.

The point was US car makers have never been able to design and build a
decent small to medium sized car. Hence so many imports of them. And Trump
wants to reduce drastically the numbers of imported cars. To bring back
jobs to the US.

But like all such fools - including Farage - haven't the remotest idea of
just how this could be achieved in practice.

an armoured luxury car must have sold millions

But it was maketed as downsized versions of the luxury market that cadalic had so you've proved I'm right even the USA took steps to save money as oil increased in price.

You can watch quite a lot of LBC's stuff.

But with Farage, best to have an edited version. Cut out the lies and
bull**** and you end up with 'good evening'.

I really can't understand why such a minor politician gets so much air
time.

Because he's a normal person, he's not a bull****ting **** like the rest.

The mere fact that he is so popular gives you the answer.
He was getting support calls from all over the world including the USA
and the Phillipines.

Well, yes. The election of Trump proves there are plenty of gullible in
the world who believe the likes of Farage is genuine. Instead of one of
the most dishonest politicians around - and that's saying something.

I'd quibble about calling him a politician in the first place. He is by far our worst MEP.

All politicians are dishonest. It's their beliefs that seperate them.
