Staining softwood hand rail
I want to stain a sanded "mop stick" softwood handrail a dark teak colour and finish with wax.
Any recommendations for products to use plse? It seems some stains - Rustins for e.g. are incompatible with wax finishes... unless a sealer is used in between coats.. - is that universal? TIA Jim K |

TIA Jim K Furniture waxes are normally based on white spirit. If the stain is too, they're going to act as a solvent to each other. A water based stain might be better with wax |
