Default Movable hoists for rental vans

It seems unlikely that there would be such a thing, but if there were a
more-or-less-portable hoist, maybe on retractable castors, which could
be wheeled up to a small rented van, so that things like storage
heaters or washer/dryers could be moved onto its ground level platform
which could then be jacked up to the van floor height, it would help on
those occasions when what was really needed was the help of
weightlifters.

A movable version of the hoists delivery vans are often equipped with.

I've just about managed singlehanded in the past by using a sack
trolley and inclined wooden planks, but that's a dicey business, and
getting harder as the years go by.

Is there such a beast at an affordable price?

Such things exist, but I don't know whether you would class them as affordable:

A purpose made ramp for the sack truck would be cheaper:

Make a load spreader for an engine lift? Make a cross up that will
fasten to the hook, then use drop wires from the ends and either hooks
or a platform at the bottom of the wires.

You probably need to extend the column, too, but it shouldn't be too
hard to do.

Hire a Luton with a tail lift, or look at "man & van" adverts in the
local rag?

I assume that Windmill is asking as someone who places those ads.
