Phew, I was beginging to think every one here was over 50... I guess most younger people have been brought up as "consumers", if summat breaks you chuck it and buy a new one. Not tek it apart and fix it. If you want something done about the house they "get a man in", trouble is I bet most of those men are "of an age" and when they stop or shuffle off who is coming up behind them? David, looks like there will be plenty of work out there for those that can. -- Cheers Dave. Since a young age, I have always been one to take things apart and try find out what was actually wrong, a lot of the time I used to end up breaking stuff by overtightening, fiddling for no reason etc but obviously as I grew up I learnt how to properly do things. I have been reading stuff on this group since I was about 10! |
