Thames TV children's department made a prog about Emily Dickinson called
The Belle of Amherst which won an EMMY. It starred Claire Bloom in the
single roll. Produced and directed by Adrian Brown. The entire production
team (of which I was one) was invited to a meal in a very nice restaurant
in Kings Road afterwards to celebrate the award. Where Ms Bloom presided
and entertained the entire evening. A lovely lady.
