Sorry, I meant "wish The Medway Handyman many happy returns".

You seem to have mistaken him for someone else.

Either that or you really are a social retard.

Everyone shares their birthday with someone famous;

It's my birthday tomorrow. Looking for famous people who share July 3rd,
I found Julian Assange top of the list. I think I'd rather not have
known that!

Anyway, many happy returns to TMH today - wish I was 60 again!

Ooh much better. Thanks. _this_ one has some famous people on my
birthday (Messier, Kelvin, Messerschmitt, Maurice Wilkes, Laurie Lee
etc) whereas the other one the only one I'd even _heard_ of was Greg Lemond.

The whole list seems to lack a good many famous people.

Here's a somewhat more comprehensive list..

Much more comprehensive but still a bit hit and miss. I share my
birthday with, among others, Ho Chi Minh, Malcolm X and Pol Pot. Also
Colin Chapman, no relation but one of several that have two entries.

No mention of David Jacobs. I am sure he is more famous than some of
those that are listed.

And I've got Che Guevara, Sam Wannamaker, Donald Trump, Rowan Williams,
Paul Boateng, Steffi Graf. And apparently, Scotty, although he's not due
to be born for another 149 years.

No one I've ever heard of shares my birthday :-)

Much thanks for all the kind comments. I am now officially an old *******.

Great day on Saturday. SWMBO bought me a Kindle, read two books on it
already, bloody brilliant, total convert.

Daughters round for drinks & pressies - bottle of Glenfiddich from
youngest & tickets for Squeeze live @ Rochester Castle from eldest
amongst other goodies.

Great meal at Cosmo - all you can eat Chinese buffet, my fave eating
place - then a river cruise on the Kingswear Castle paddle steamer -
steam, boat, bar, music - what better.

Life is good.

Where's Cosmo? Might give it a try when I'm up there. Is the buffet just

They are a small chain http://www.cosmo-restaurants.co.uk/find.php?rst_id=1

The buffet is always on, thats all they do. Large range of food, all
very good.

The Chatham one is in the High Street, not far from Argos, reasonable
parking nearby.

Have you ordered the Bus Pass yet?

Premature these days I am sorry to say.

We are in transition to bus passes at 65. People born on or after 6
April 1950 qualify on the day that a woman born on the same day reaches
state pension age.

So Dave has to wait until 6 September 2012.

Sorry to be a party pooper.
