Default Soft close damper (Hafele)

Hi,

Looking at a soft close damper for kitchen cabinet doors. Example:
http://comptools.co.uk/product_info....oducts_id=8388

The page says "Must be fitted 10-15 mm from hinge side in the cabinet".

What does it say/mean?

Where would you position the damper assuming hinges are on a vertical side?

TIA
Charles

On the inside upper edge of the door frame.

Where the "O" is in that picture. You can either screw the
bracket into the bottom of the top face of the cabinet, or
if the cabinet is suitably constructed, bore a hole into the
front edge of the top face of the cabinet.

Brilliant, thank you.
