Keep an eye on your CH installer
The installer needed a mains supply for the boiler, a ring main ran across
the kitchen ceiling (bungalow) to a socket down by the boiler which ran a spur through the wall into the conservatory. CH was fitted (pretty good job actually), they left, no power to socket or conservatory. What must've happened - they cut the ring, went to connect a junction box and found the cables weren't long enough, so, they also cut the other half of the ring and joined both and the boiler feed in the junction box. 3 more junction boxes later and I have power back !"£$%^&'s |
