Time before permanent re-instatement of concrete path ?
3 holes in concrete path trying to locate mains water leak.
3 inches of concrete over 18 inches of gravelly soil. Transpired 2 problems under the 2 foot of pavement of water board supply pipe but I still have 3 holes to deal with after the backfill has settled. The original problem a hole in lead pipe one foot from their water meter but also to the amazement of the water board bods. The meter installers had just push 'fitted' a plastic-pipe type connector on to the end of the lead pipe and not a compression fitting - although not actually leaking it could easily be rotated by hand. |
