Hi, anyone know what size towel radiator thingy I would need for a bathroom
measuring 2.64M length x 1.7M width x 2.6M height? Can I use one as a straight swap for a central heating radiator? jez. |

Even with no towels, they give off less heat than the same sized radiator. -- Andrew Gabriel |

You should be able to get a figure for the heat output of any towel radiator you might be considering - and compare it with the figure for your existing radiator. Size for size, your towel radiator will give you far less than half the output of a normal rad - and that's *before* you put towels on it! -- Cheers, Set Square ______ Please reply to newsgroup. It's impossible to say what the heating requirement is just from the dimensions - so much depends on the construction and insulation characteristics. If you have a conventional radiator at the moment which is adequate - but not much more - replacing it with a towel radiator of the same size will be hopelessly inadequate - 'cos towel radiators have pretty pathetic heat outputs due to their small surface areas. If you want a towel radiator, install one *in addition* to a normal radiator rather than *instead of* it. -- Cheers, Set Square ______ Please reply to newsgroup. Reply address is invalid. |
