Hubby wants some simple storage in the roofspace. He was talking about
buying??!!*!? one of those wooden and canvas jobs from argos. Surely it would be cheap and simple to knock up a set of shelves? It needs to be about 18" deep and about 5 or 6 foot long, with 3 shelves 18" apart? He has a straight eye and will be able to get it level, but if it involves for than 2 hours work, he'll not do it. Any suggestions? Suzanne |

Any suggestions? Free standing, or fixed to a wall? For fixed to a wall, try the adjustable shelving tracks with brackets from Screwfix - good quality, but way cheaper than the usual sources. Free standing ones made out of plastic sections like this: http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/st...ckfrom=imag e are also very quick and easy to assemble (about 10 mins a set), strong, and won't rust. -- Cheers, John. /================================================== ===============\ | Internode Ltd - http://www.internode.co.uk | |-----------------------------------------------------------------| | John Rumm - john(at)internode(dot)co(dot)uk | \================================================= ================/ |

MDF and chipboard both no good for shelves unless also battened as
they sag slowly under load. If you wat something quick and easy just go to IKEA which is ridiculously cheap |
