Hubby wants some simple storage in the roofspace. He was talking about

Depends where it's going to go and what it's going to hold. A sheet
of MDF gives you three shelves about 16" deep and 8' long - you could
hang them from the underside of the ridge with a few big screw eyes
and string everything together with some polypropylene rope. I have
many other creative ideas ...
