Default OT Foscam poor Night Vision solution?

I hve a couple of Foscam cameras, and they particularly SUCK at night
vision. Images are very blurry and full of what seems to be reflection
of their own illumination. I have them in areas that are illuminated
by spotlights. Is there some way to improve their performance at
night?

thanks

Cut a tube about 3/4" long and big enough to go around the camera lens
then glue it in place as a light shield. Some flat black spray paint
if using PVC might be in order as well.

It depends very much on which model they are btw..

Most are not.not HD cameras....
