That's what's key here. Otherwise, why try to re-invent the wheel on a spur-of-the-moment?

You are starting to sound like Ed, mog.

Smart people will decide for you?

Yeah right.

Smart people who conduct megabuck surveys know what they're talking
about. Klaus doesn't know squat about much of anything. He's a
full-time blustering bull****ter, like Gunner, who recently gave his
favorite exposure details on film that was discontinued a couple of
years before he was born. d8-)

Are you really that blind that you don't recognize that these guys are
talking off the tops of their heads? Look at the verification study I
just posted for Klaus. If you think there is something wrong with it,
let us know what it is.

Kodachrome was discontinued in 1953? Really? On which planet?

Kodachrome sheet film, as you were discussing. Discontinued in 1951.

Others, like Gunner, who occasionally come up with a good story I keep

Definitely a reasonable policy. I try, but something in me is just so
antagonistic to the ideologues' bull**** that I wind up in these
ridiculous arguments.

This ranks as one of the dumber ones. I'm arguing with people about a
research study, and they've never even read it. I've offered to email
it, but I've had no takers. It's like arguing with the deaf.

I'll end this one here because, as of today, I have to hire a new
editor, and it's going to suck up what little time I have to spare. On
top of that, I have to write to fill in until I hire someone.

So I'll sign off for a while.
