anymore. The bright arc blinds me and I can't weld unless its a stick on

It's a booger bear when you run a nice bead and find out that except for
the
first 1/4", the rest wanders away from the intentioned root. I hate when
I
do that.

Did that the other day. Nice looking bead too!..just progressivly
farther and farther away from the weld point.

I don't think I've ever run a ****ty bead that went off target. All were
beautiful. Why is it like that? Why is it that when I drop buttered toast,
it always lands buttered side down?

Neighborhood auto service cum small machine shop owner ran his place on
a 10KW cat/toast-powered 3ph generator for years! Had to shut it down
for half an hour twice daily to feed the cats and replace the toast
though. Still, cheap at half the price.

Hardest part was getting the cats restarted exactly 120 degrees apart.
