Default Drillpress column storage

--Sumpin I've been trying to get around to for a decade. Finally
bored the holes in some al plate yesterday and have two assemblies done for
two shelf units yet to be added. Anyone else been there/done that? Any tips?

nah... I've never had to store my drill press column.
