other teranews users - anyone able to post successfully throughteranews?
I thought I had fixed everything, and I was actually good to go for
about a week, but now I can't post through teranews to any NG again - anyone else successful? if so, what is the trick - note, I'm using their "free" server -- don't know if that matters or not - for sure, their on-line support is, shall we say "severly lacking" - as in there isn't any. but the price is right. bill; - www.wbnoble.com |

Just a note that I've been on motzarella.org for a couple of days, and
it seems to be working fine. |

After my ISP cut off Usenet without warning, I tried Teranews for about a week. Never could post. I finally gave up and went with APN for $3/month. It's faster, with longer retention, and reliable. Doug White well, one or two days after I created an account on Motzarella.org as a backup to teranews, just by magic teranews started passing my posts on through again. - there is nothing new on their server status page to say what happened. $3 per month is cheap enough - but for my usage, I don't care about retenetion, I don't care about binaries, and tereanews for their one time $3 or $4 fee has been reliable enough most of the time. ** Posted from http://www.teranews.com ** |
