On Tue, 19 Aug 2008 15:01:29 -0500, Randy penned the following well
considered thoughts to the readers of rec.crafts.metalworking: I machined two tapered guide strips fron Delrin plastic. they taper fron 3/4 inch down to 1/8 inch. the ends now bow up. I did machine all four sides to get them to size first. How do I get rid of the bow? heat? 1-1/4 wide tapered over 10 inches. 15" OAL. Thank You, Randy Remove 333 from email address to reply. I don't know where you are .... you could use some 1:1 help. Some of the responses yo have received are nuts. Email, if interested.... -- Homepage http://pamandgene.idleplay.net/MachineShop/index.htm |
