87 Meg is not that big. I ran a simulation at work a couple years ago that
output 24 Gigabyte file

I used this command (pulled of some google search)

ps2pdf -dMaxSubsetPct=100 -dCompatibilityLevel=1.2 \
-dSubsetFonts=true -dEmbedAllFonts=true file.ps file.pdf
