AMA flip-flopped on hydroxychloroquine
The American Medical Association has been adamantly against hydroxychloroquine as a therapeutic for COVID for the past year. Just a few days
before the presidential election they reversed course, reversing their opposition. Did they suddenly realize HCQ might have benefit in certain patient groups or were they lying for the past year? How many individuals died as a result of being denied potential lifesaving treatment? https://www.americanthinker.com/arti...many_died.html |

Cindy Hamilton Perhaps it should just START thinking - - - from Wikipedia: American Thinker is a daily online magazine dealing with American politics from a conservative viewpoint.[1][2] It was founded in 2003 by Ed Lasky, a Northbrook lawyer, Richard Baehr, a Chicago health-care consultant, and Thomas Lifson, a Berkeley, California sociologist and business adviser.[3] From Huffington Post: American Stinker American Thinker is your garden-variety right-wing site for people who believe Jesus personally hand-delivered the Constitution to the founding fathers. What sets it apart is that one of its bloggers, Robert Oscar Lopez, is allegedly gay and claims to have been raised by two lesbians. By Walt Hawkins |

Cindy Hamilton Rush put this story out there too. It's a good example of what's really fake news. Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh falsely claimed that the American Medical Association rescinded a previous statement and came out in support of hydroxychloroquine, the drug pushed by President Donald Trump for months as a potential treatment for COVID-19. "Now all of a sudden the AMA (said) €” although very quietly €” that hydroxychloroquine is okay," Limbaugh said Dec. 15, telling his millions of listeners that the groups past statements were meant to hurt Trump. "Its perfectly fine. Go ahead and use it if you want. It can be helpful." AMA's response: "In March, AMA urged caution about prescribing hydroxychloroquine off-label to treat #COVID19," the AMA wrote, with a link to Poynters Covering COVID-19 newsletter by Al Tompkins. "Our position remains unchanged. Evidence-based #science & practice must guide these determinations." Apparently there was a discussion at AMA and a vote recently with the result that their position remains the same. |

dical Association has been adama Hi "oscar", I realize you're just a worthless piece of **** sock puppet of the highwinds troll whose infantile politics have ruined this newsgroup. Yet I wish to preserve in the permanent Usenet record this request to ask you to stop spamming this repair newsgroup with your always infantile off topic political trolling. The only people responding are the socks of the same troll, so all you're accomplishing is you have conversations with your own highwinds socks. Please stop your infantile spamming of this newsgroup! Thanks! |
