Thanks for posting the info. Finally figured how use Seamonkey to delete posts
from some of those "names" at the top of the list so I don't see their crap anymore.

Me too! I deleted all 25. Then I realized I'd filtered one of them
unintentionally, and I can't remember his name. All I can think of is
Colonel Angus.

Put me at the top of the list in your filter. I have no use for your
top posting, judgment or any silly comments from you.

BTW. Who are you and what have your contributed to DIY here? Otherwise
STFU.

I tried to use Seamonkey as a news reader and I got rid of it really
fast, after finding out that it did not allow me to delete messages. The
"delete" button was gray, and hitting the DEL key did not work either.
Thus I could not delete the garbage posts or messages I already read, or
anything. My computer would have filled up with old messages, unless I
unsubscribed from a newsgroup and resubscribed. I also did not like the
way they combined the settings for email and newsgroups.

As a browser, Seamonkey is acceptable, but for newsgroups it's
worthless.

Lowes doesn't advertise completely despicable post holes, but they'll
sell you prefabricated ones in sets, 2 for $10.97 or 3 for $10.97.

I'm not a top poster, I'm a bottom poster. There is nothing more irritating than someone who quotes the contents of a previous post underneath theirs. It screws everything up. ᕙ()ᕗ

I consider full quoters more irritating than

I've joined "Top posters anonymous" and go to regular meetings every 5th
Tuesday of each month. We all take turns standing up and we start off
by saying, "I was a top poster addicted to top posting for X years.
After being shown the RIGHT way to post I've learned to accept that
bottom posting is the new top posting. I accept the things I cannot
change and have learned the wisdom to tell the difference.

Thanks! No, really, I mean it. What a
great room this is! Is that a mustache,
or did a caterpillar escape from the
zoo? I didn't realize that would anger
you, who's the woman next to you, is that
the zookeeper? I don't get no respect.

Burke does if you count the Col. missing name.

Top posters, like yourself, Oren and Stormin are contributors or

What the cry babies cannot understand is there is only so many answers
to a question. A few debates or corrections.. Once the correct answer
is given; how many times does it need to be repeated over and over.
Then the thread will drift and then turn into other topics. The cry
babies should then leave; ignore the rest of the thread. instead of
complaining. It just shows me how intolerant democrats are. If they
can't control an ALT group they go into a fit.

That was me, sorry. Imagine my embarrassment when I finally realized
there was another Stormin Mormon here! Out of respect for the real
Stormin Mormon, someday I'm going to quit using that name as my sock puppet.
