Default ex-felons should be able to vote!

A woman from New Jersey was telling me the other day that she wasn't
allowed to vote because she was an ex-felon... Apparently, when her parole
and probation period are over, she will have her voting right restored, but
she should have been able to vote as soon as she was released from prison,
Imo... In some states, the laws are more lenient, but in other states they
are even more severe, and ex-felons are permanently unable to vote... This
seems very excessive and unfair... What good does it do to be harsh and
punitive? When someone is released from prison, they should have the same
rights as every other citizen...

In prison they have no right to ANAL LUBE! So why should they get the right
to VOTE after they get released? You see, your point makes no cents.
