She sticks her toe in her for just a moment, and the newsgroup goes all to
hell like the other groups she hangs out in. The thread on water pressure
regulator has taken on a nasty tone that does not belong in this previously
helpful and rational group. I hope we can return to civility.

Is she a Mormon cook? One interested in food?

I second that! I hate to stir up trouble! That's why I didn't tell
Stormin he's a fool for worrying about the regulator. The way to adjust
water pressure is to jack up the house a little. 46 feet should do the
trick.

Well, at .434 psi per foot of elevation,
that's about right.

One of us must be in some kind of alternate reality.

I hope we can return to civility.

I'm dumbfounded.

Cue theme to the "Twilight Zone."

Me too. Out of all the people in AHR to accuse of uncivil behavior (while
commiting it, no less with such a nasty subject line) Julie would be at the
bottom of my list. Welcome to Bizzaro World.

Same here.
I saw absolutely no reason for the attack on Julie.

I'm fairly new here, but I saw absolutely nothing that she did IN HERE that would justify her being accused and humiliated in the whole forum like that. I'm thinking that Pico Rico just got up on the wrong side of the bed that day.

If that happened to me, I'd probably track my attacker down and eat his brain. People think beheadings are a messy affair. They've never seen me eat a brain.

What are you even talking about? I didn't mention a water pressure
regulator and I don't even know what one is. My water heater has been
repaired. I was told that my venting is up to code but it may be helpful to
extend it up another foot from the roof. So far so good on the water
heater. And you're just a nasty piece of work.

OK, then I guess the regulator thread is
closed. Thanks for the canned spaghetti
you got on coupons. Loved that. Hope sis
is doing OK, with the flooded cellar. Are
you getting enough to eat? Love you, Ma.

See, this is exactly the reason why Medieval Europe was such an awful place to live and spend your life. No one dared to travel very far from where they lived because of "highway men" that would rob you, but also because of the mind set of the people back then. If someone's horse died or house burned down just when you came into town, people would suspect it was because you were evil and an instrument of the Devil. You very well could end up in a situation where they'd bind your hands behind your back and your feet together and throw you in the river. If you drown, God had accepted your soul and they'd know you were innocent. If you survived, God had rejected you because you were evil and should be put to death. Better to live where everyone knew you to avoid finding yourself on trial for being evil.

I haven't read the whole Pressure Regulator thread in full, but from what I understand, Julie Bove didn't play any part in it. Why are we blaming her for the baby squabble that erupted there. Because she's evil? The only ones responsible for that baby squabble are the babies that are squabbling.

I'll not look up the exact comment unless I have too. Words or
something along the lines of "you people" - then comments about
stereotypes about women. She "appears" to contradict herself.

Can we talk about guns now?

Hi None,

I have her Kill Filed where ever I come across her.
I can't see anything she writes, but still she stalks
me and screeds all over me. She once threatened violence
on me in a dark alley. (She was ****ed that I called my
wife a "Trophy Wife".)

You should see the disloyal crap she writes about her husband
and daughter.

I think she may have even called me a "pig" lately. If so, it is
my favorite. If not, there is always hoping.

The best way to forget all about a drama queen, 20 on the
4 to 10 crazy scale, psycho chick is to talk guns.

Can you believe what they have done to the M14? That
was a classically beautiful rifle to start with. Now
it looks like a P4 on steroids.

Okay, I know I threatened to smack Stormin' with a Nerf
newspaper in heaven, but that was teasing and was meant
to tell him both that I thought he was wrong AND that
I thought he was going to heaven anyway as he is a good
man, false gods and all. Plus Nerf doesn't hurt.

Bull pucky Todd. I never threatened violance on your or anyone else. And
certainly not in a dark alley. I am a woman and know to avoid them. Not
that we even have any alleys were I live. Dark or otherwise. And I sure as
hell don't stalk you. You came back spreading lies on the diabetes food
group and told those of us who use the diabetes drug Metformin, Met Heads.
And you said that insulin was nasty. I am afraid of you Todd Afraid that
you might kill a diabetic by telling them not to use insulin.

And yes, I was ****ed at you for calling your wife a Trophy Wife. It's not
a nice term to call someone. And I'll bet that your wife wouldn't like to
know that you refer to her as stuff.

You should see the disloyal crap she writes about her husband
and daughter.

Disloyal? Whatever in the hell does that mean?

I think she may have even called me a "pig" lately. If so, it is
my favorite. If not, there is always hoping.

I probably did, based on something that you said. You were right nasty over
there on alt.food.diabetic and you kept calling an elderly Jewish woman
crabby. Not only that but you did it right before a big Jewish holiday so
she couldn't even see what you wrote.

The best way to forget all about a drama queen, 20 on the
4 to 10 crazy scale, psycho chick is to talk guns.

And what kind of person would talk guns? Not one I would ever be around.
Even more reason to be afraid of you.

Somehow that doesn't come across as a nice thing to say. You have a really
warped and sick sense of humor.

And note that I am not normally one to carry things from newsgroup to
newsgroup but you and some others started it by telling lies about me over
here. So...

And now I shall leave this group as clearly there is no reason for me to be
here. I can just look elsewhere on the Internet if I need an answer or I
can post OT and ping Ed on the food newsgroup because he does give answers
if he knows them and he doesn't mess around with me.

Virtually all factory food has wheat and sugar added to it. Wheat and sugar are extremely damaging to your health.
Most people that eliminate wheat and sugar from their diet can throw away their Metformin and other pharmaceuticals.

But don't take my word for it.
Meet Dr William Davis and Dr Robert Lustig. Both are very rare physicians in that they are honest.
Instead of pushing drugs, they push science facts that will restore your health.

This is getting beyond ridiculous. I asked a serious question here.
Actually a couple. And perhaps because I am a woman and I don't know
technical stuff, that didn't go over so well. Both problems are currently
resolved, I certainly wasn't trolling and I had intended to leave this
group, until I saw Pico's post. Clearly he or she is trying to cause

and it'll kill that group.

That makes no sense. How could *my* asking a few legit questions kill this
group? I wasn't even *in* the thread in question and I have no intention of
going there. Because I have no answer for the person.

You are correct. I misread it badly.

By the way, my Trophy Wife loves the new rollers
on her chair. Thank you!

Pico tried to get on my case in the Ferguson, Missouri, shooting case
by a LEO. Tried to tell me about laws or that I should check the law.
I pointed out that I'm retired LEO and understand certain laws on use
of force. Application of that force and when to administer it in a
judicial way. Told him of a case when a Nigerian Prince took a break
down.

I've tried to help Julie. At times I get the impression she wants to
be or play the victim. Often replies to me are "yes but". Any excuse
to what she did not do to fix what was suggested.

Men use logic, females can get dramatic - it complicates things!

It will if you stop stirring up ****. Go back to RFC if that is the
group you are trying to kill.

This is getting beyond ridiculous. I asked a serious question here.
Actually a couple. And perhaps because I am a woman and I don't know
technical stuff, that didn't go over so well. Both problems are
currently resolved, I certainly wasn't trolling and I had intended to
leave this group, until I saw Pico's post. Clearly he or she is
trying to cause trouble and drag me back in here.

Hi,
Let me rephrase for Ed. Wherever you go you will suck up all the
bandwidth there
and it'll kill that group.

Hi,
I know, I was little over board. I don't like time wasters. I am in good
mood
today, I found what I need for my sun room wall mounted heat pump/ I need
a new capillary thermostat to run it in heat mode. Even found a replacement
in Indiana(Shorty's HVAC parts) our collection of orchids won't freeze when
it gets cold. We already received 2nd snow fall.

Hi Pico,

That is just her. Not much you can do about it. I feel
your pain.

I made the mistake of calling my wife a Trophy Wife over
on one of the food groups because she eats what I eat
so I will never be tempted to break my regimen. (Not a
diet, I eat a lot.) Julie flipped out. She has been
stalking me in that group ever since. She knows I
have her killfiled, but, based on the quoted parts of
other people's replies, every time I write something,
she still screeds after me. And she can be pretty nasty
at times.

I hate to put it this way, but just ignore her. You
should never get down in the mud with a pig. You can't
win and the pig rather enjoys himself. She is an awful
woman.

I have her KF'd but a bunch of ninnies insist on ragging on her or about
her.

I have noticed a couple of threads here that have gotten just
silly/nasty/foolish, which is a great disappointment.

Maybe we should tie up Julie, throw her in the river and see if she floats or sinks?

That might make for an agreeable break in an otherwise monotonous day.

You should hear her carry on about her husband and
daughter on other groups. If I was to hear she was
found buried in her back yard, although I would not
approve or condone it, part of me would understand.

You are right. You just have to walk away (kill file)
that kind of a spirit. Not let those kinds of fumes
into your heart. And what I can tell, she rather
enjoys it when people fight back with her.

What is wrong with you? Why are you doing this? Why would anyone drag
stuff from one newsgroup to another? What are you doing? Stalking me? How
many other names do you use?

There is nothing wrong with *my* spirit. I have better things to do than to
act in such a childish manner as you people here are. I don't know how old
Pico is, but I know you are older than me. This is pathetic.

If you have her kill filed. why did you bring this up here then? You
just want to stir ****. For you it must be a strange form of masturbation.
Julie came and went, but you came to cause trouble.

No, Ed never misses the point. If you have her KF'd, why do
you bring this up in here and attribute a thread she had no
involvment in and exactly what nastiness?
I've read this group for years and other than losing a few
great contributors I don't see any changes in the tone.
And if the truth be known with the loss of DD and Heybub,
the nasty has subsided some. Not that I ever considered them
to be harsh, but some did

I missed nothing. Julie went away, yet you drug up her name to case
more problems. You added nothing to the group, just a lame 8th grade
tattle-tale conversation.

I sure hope it's just my imagination. But,
I sense you might be right. Or, not. What's
to be done? Perhaps the folks here can make
extra effort for a while, to be extra nice,
you big idiot? ;~)
