Default Toto soft-close seat now drops, can it be adjusted?

Can the soft close seats on toto toliets be adjusted to regain the soft
close? Ours is starting to 'drop' and it'd make sense if it was
adjustable. But I have it off and don't see anything that allows for
that.

Did you ever get an answer as to how to adjust the closure rate?
