Oven wiring
I am replcing a built-in 220 oven with a new one. The supply line has a
red, black, green and white cable. The stove has a red, black, white and bare copper line. Does the bare copper line get connected to the green line? |

Does the bare copper line get connected to the green line? Rich, Yepp, it's supposed to be the same. Goes to ground. White is neutral. Red and black are both 120V, 180° phase difference so if you have a voltmeter you'll see a voltage of about 240V between the Red and Black. Good luck with your hookup. Pj |
