How to get a straight line?
I'm trying to install drawer guides in
an "old" kitchen cabinet. What is the best way to determine a straight line from the front of the cabinet to the back so my brackets will align correctly? McM |

McM Do you just want a straight line or a straight line that is also perpendicular to the face frame or cabinet front? I found the inexpensive ones work better than the laser levels which can involve some fuss. |

A standard framing square has legs of 16" and 24", which works out well with a standard kitchen cabinet's 24" depth. Stick a level on top of the framing square to get your level line. R |
