Default fridgidaire gallery range

I purchased a home with a fairly new Fridgidaire Gallery Glass Top
Stove.

The left rear burner will only come on at the highest setting
regardless of where you set the temperature with the knob.

Is this likely to be a problem with the burner or the control

Thanks

Hi,

Element stays on high only:

This is usually a contact inside the switch that has stuck together.
Because this contact will not open, the element stays on high heat all
the time = new switch time.
