Anyway, when you sign the binder 'Subject to Attorney's Approval', you get your attorney to look at it within a day or so and if he approves, you set up a contract. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I am under the impression that there is a federal law that allows either party to any real-estate contract to cancel the contract within three days of signing for any reason. I hold a real estate license and I never heard of it applying in real estate. I have heard of it tho. I need to refresh my memory when this law kicks in. |
