We have a ceiling fan that shipped with glass shades on the light kit
that seem simply too heavy for she set screws to hold over extended an
extended period.

I'd really like to replace these with a lighter weight acrylic shade. I
have seen acrylic jelly-jar fixtures...but either in a store or online
have yet to successfully locate a 2.25" fitter acrylic shade for a
ceiling fan.

Has anybody seen one (or have an idea for how to get the glass shades to
stay pt??
