Clock on RCA Colortrak 2000 TV
I have an old (mid-1980's) RCA Colortrak 2000 TV.
I operate the TV -- using a remote-control or using the buttons on the front panel of the TV set -- the time is displayed on the TV screen. When I set the TV-time to match the real-time (for example, 2 PM), five hours later (at 7 PM real-time), the TV-time is 9 PM. How can I get the TV-time to stay the same as the real-time? Is the clock a part of the TV or is it in the remote-control? Gary |

Probably a defect within the controller, will need to have it professionally
serviced, if the appropriate parts are still available. wrote in message oups.com... Hey Lee, Thanks loads for your #$@J)*Y*$#&^# response. |

The time of day in most of the TV sets is in part of the main controller.
This is not a simple thing for the end user to service. You would have to have the set properly serviced by an experienced tech. It is very possible however, that the parts may no longer be available. Considering the age of the set, the cost of the repair may not be worth the investment. This is something you would have to decide for yourself. The newer sets are superior to the one that you have. -- JANA _____ wrote in message oups.com... Try unplugging the TV for a few minutes if you haven't yet. Often TV
clocks that are keeping odd time will clear up after unplugging. Also, try posting model and chassis numbers. I have an old (mid-1980's) RCA Colortrak 2000 TV.
