Problem with JVC RX250 receiver
Amplifier part still works great, after all those years tuner is
hardly receiving anything. Changed cable antenna connection, checked to see if the internal antenna connection was ok, used the FM wire, but it can't find anything automatically, only real bad reception of some stations... Any (specific) help? |

If it's a digital tuner, I have found that discriminator and VCO adjustments
often fix problems like this. Especially if the scanning doesn't stop correctly on stations. The discriminator adjustment is really best done in a shop. If the VCO potentiometer is marked, a semi-knowledgeable person can often adjust it himself. Mark Z. "George" wrote in message om...
