Default Daewoo 28" HOT problem

Daewoo 28" model DTL-28G7, chassis CP775 (probably). Problem is the
HOT (2SD1880) gets very hot during operation and blows after one hour.
Flyback pulse and base drive waveforms looks ok. The set works just
perfect with no indications for something wrong. Any advice or
schematic is appreciated.
Best regards
Stefan

Did you look for the small capacitor off the primary of the driver transformer,
usually a 1uf? This will cause the output to short if it's open. Real common on
Daewoo.
