Computer monitor HV help needed
I have an ACER peripheral monitor - Dell Badged.
It has a burnt resistor inside the Flyback cage. Current resistance is 4 ohms but I can't read what it should be. it is 1/4 wat and feeds a 1n4004 which feeds another one and some 150k resistors far from the HV. The auto brightness limiter doesn't function - can't change anything with the ABL pot. The set runs at max brightness. Could this be the reason? the diode may also be bad. resistans seems too high, but i haven't removed it yet. ant ideas?? cher |
