I thought so too Dave, but I have only been able to find a user manual for
download. It's not desperately important. Just one of my mate who runs the
shop's customers, who wants a jack putting on the back panel to take out
signal just ahead of the master vol. I just wanted to have a quick look at
exactly how it was configured around that bit of the circuit, just to see
what I was dealing with impedance wise etc.

A freebie download would be a great thing, but Peavey sells their schematics for
only $2.50 US... seems a pittance if it can save you an hour or two of circuit
tracing. I've bought several schematics from them.. they are very friendly and
ship immediately.
Their service folks are quite easy to talk to as well... if you don't mind the
phone charges, give them a call and they will prolly be glad to chat for a few
minutes.

Cheers!!!

and how good are their schematics? are we talking about reprints ,
copies that you can hardly make out or what?

cause, it would be nice to know where I could do a clear print of a
PDF at an economical cost. I tried a couple of outfits and they take
you for a ride with schematics that are hardly readable and sometimes
incomplete, or they are not the service schematics but only the
single fold that you some times find in user books.

OK, thanks all anyway. As I said, not sweating it, more for interest really.
I dare say that my mate is probably actually a dealer, and could get the
service info direct here in the UK, if it turned out to actually be needed.
As he is a biggish shop selling nothing but instruments and amplification,
he is a dealer for most common makes, and we don't usually have trouble
getting service info for anything that we have in for repair. I haven't even
pulled the chassis out of the box yet, but I'm not expecting anything
elaborate. It's only a single speaker half-size cab. Not much more than a
practice amp really ...

I see that you're wanting to get a tap off pre master volume control?
You can probably just pull it off the outer tags of the pot via a
capacitor - but you knew that already :^)

That was my thought, Ron. It's slightly more complicated than that in that
he would like a screwdriver-slot level pot on the back for the new output,
as well, which is why I just wanted to have a quick squint at the resistor
values around the area, to pick a suitable value pot that's not going to
compromise anything that's already going on there. I'm sure it will all be
apparent when I pull it to bits and have a shufty. Thanks for your interest.

Peavey's schematics are full sized, high quality prints. Not copies, nor
reduced to the point of illegibility. They are usually on 11X17 (high quality)
paper, on multiple sheets if the circuitry is too complex to get onto a single
sheet. I have a couple schematics on 8.5X11 paper of some very simple
equipment. I have to say that I've only bought schematics for solid-state
equipment, which is significantly more complex than tubed equipment.
When I received the first schematic that I bought from them, I was amazed by the
quality. I don't hesitate to order from them if I even remotely think I'll need
a schematic. If you buy from Peavey, you will NOT be disappointed.
Yes, it would be nice to be able to download a PDF, but I think you'd be more
disappointed with that than with a paper print.

No, I'm not affiliated with Peavey.. . just a satisfied customer.
Cheers!!!
