People have been using these approaches to practice english.

Many countries, especially India is scrambling to learn English. I
think this is an attempt to practice English. It is the air of
deception that gets people to retaliate to what seems trivial.

I did not pursue this one, so I might be wrong. "Pursue" in this
context means, checking the profile.
