Default RCA 52" Projection T.V.

RCA 52" Projo T.V., Model # P52937SG, Chassis # CTC 195M4, dead,
2SC5148 horizontal output shorted, all else ok, replaced...works fine,
nice pix, convergence was fine, tap main board....pop goes the output!
Found no bad connections, & soldered the horiz drive area before
putting
power to the unit. Q14301 driver looked overheated, but checks fine.
Anyone
see this type of unseen bad connection? The board looks fine, no leaks,
& the
convergence power supply looks fine. Thanks, Dani.

Look very closely at the leads and joints on the horizontal driver
transformer.

Like Charles said, look VERY closely at the coil going to the drive
transformer as well as the transformer itself. Usually have to use a mag.
glass to see the broken connection on the coil but I almsot guarantee it's
broken.

Good luck.
