Hello,
Has anyone heard of a ESD Ground Monitor / Tester called "Snap It"? If so, can you tell me where I can find It? Thank You, Danny |

Thank You, Danny Perhaps you are looking for a "Hi-Pot" tester? This checks for ground leaks to metal surfaces by pulsing a high voltage.... John :-#)# Not sure about this, but they make workbench monitors that alarm when the path between wrist strap and earth ground isn't good. I don't know about "Snap It", but google "wrist strap monitor", maybe what you're thinking of. And if it is, ARRL published a circuit for a ground monitor that can easily be built. Steve |
