Default How to rust proof underwater alligator clips?...tia sal

Greetings, All

I 'm doing some under water test but my alligator clips are rusting due to the fact that they are not
coated with rust proof materials. Does anyone know which material to use to rust proof alligator clips
(I purchased them from radio shack) The alligator clips are used to transmit voltage underwater but they rust after a day.

If I paint them with a rust proof material, the material will still have to be able to conduct electricity
any ideas what i can use?

Thanks

With all those clips, you first MUST solder them. The crimps will fail
very soon. They are bad enough out of water. Very loosly made.

Salt water? Good luck.
I would just cover them in silicone grease.

Do you Google? If you have never used a search engine you should try it.
Lots of information on the Internet at your disposal on your home computer.
In just about 30 seconds using the search words "stainless steel alligator
clips" on Google web search I found the following website and source:
http://www.lakewoodproductsinc.com/alligator.htm
If the above is not satisfactory, look at the other hits as a result of the
Google search..... there should be a few other good ones out of the 39,300
total hits that came up.

There people may have what you want. http://www.marinco.com/

I cannot remember directly who supplies what you want. What you need are
corrosion resistant alligator clips. Usually these are made from stainless
steel, or any metal that is non corrosive.
