Probably not. As a kid, my bedroom was a finished attic. Under one
eave was an 8' x 8' built-in "table" for a train layout, arranged high
enough that I could scoot under, emerge in the middle.

Of course it was "O" gauge Lionel. "HO" was just coming into vogue,
but was horribly expensive... too much for me.

For my boys I built a roll-out that would fit under their beds.
