Default Building screen room...

How do I go about screening in this patio.
http://people.eku.edu/cornmanadm/screen_room.jpg
It's located in central Ky and it is about 32 feet wide and 14 feet
deep.

I've got lots of questions...

Can you bolt the ledger on through the brick (to the band) or does it
have to come off around the ledger?
Is 2x6 enough for the ledger?
Is 2x6 joists on 16" center enough?
How to get around the chimney?
What's the best roof material... rubber? Assume flat roof for now.
What kind (diminsion) of post/studs to use? Best way to anchor them to
brick covered concrete?
How to attach screen?

Anything else?

I think you mean the sill plate. you can bolt it to the brick.
Drill a hole with a impact drill and then use masonry anchors.

Is 2x6 enough for the ledger?

Sill plate? Yes. Also yes for the ledger.

Is 2x6 joists on 16" center enough?

Yes. I dont think you need any floor joists since you can use the
existing brick for the floor. Ceiling joist can be on 24" centers.

How to get around the chimney?

Bolt your supports ldirectly to it. then frame around it.

What's the best roof material... rubber? Assume flat roof for now.

The best kind of roof is one which matches the existing one including
the pitch.

What kind (diminsion) of post/studs to use? Best way to anchor them to brick covered concrete?

6x6 posts will match the width of your sill plate. They can be nailed
to the sill plate.

How to attach screen?

It is best to buy windows. They need not be expensive for seasonal
use. otherwise you could build frames for the screens and use a router
or saw to make a slot around the perimeter. then you could use
ordinary splines that are designed for screen replacement. The frames
would be removable so that they can easily be repaired in the future.
Luck.

Anything else?

Do you live in a condo or a single family home?
