Default Build a new Amazon price watch feed

Anyone able to make this work, it is supposed to give you an alert to
changes in Amazon pricing.

I just installed Firefox and put MOOOD1 on my toolbar folder and also
put a few Amazon wish list items into bookmarks. What else do I need
to do to get the live price changes to show-up on Firefox?
Scott

PS yes this is related to woodworking because I am interested in buying
a lathe if the price drops again.!

Oh, I see. Well, first of all, you'll need a news reader (to deal with
the actual RSS feeds). I recommend Bloglines.com as it's just great.
There you'd subscribe to the XML feeds the "MOOO!" bookmarklet is
pointing you to.

The reader will check the feed for price changes and notifies you once
there is a change.

The RSS support built into Firefox is VERY bare-bones, it's no
substitute for a real news reader. And once you went with RSS you'll
never go back...

I hope I could answer your question. If not, let me know. You can also
mail me (contact AT watchcow DOT net).

Regards,
Carlo

Yeah, but even Sage is a bit bare-bones. Anyways, you'd subscribe to
the feed in Sage and let Sage look for updated feed items a few times
per day. (That's one of the drawbacks of Sage, by the way -- AFAIK
it'll only check for updates when it's running, i.e. visible in the
side bar.

Seriously, try Bloglines.com. Web-based news reading as good as it
gets. Free, no ads, just a great service.
